Book Recovery for Virginia Center for the Book

I was behind on several projects this summer and finally got the repaired books back to their owners. Whew! Time for some fun bookbinding. So I chose a book called BEER GAMES and a couple of Shock Top six-packs and messed around.The Virginia Center for the Book "Book Recovery" contest gave me a deadline. It's true that when my husband saw me frowning over the complicated box, he remarked that I have an odd notion of "fun." Anyway, I finished the project to my own satisfaction and sent it off a couple of months ago. Yesterday I was notified that it won a Book Artists' Choice award of $75. So I get to take my husband to dinner at our favorite restaurant. That's fun that we agree on.
